What do I Need?
Entry Requirements for the Honours Bachelor Degree of Arts:
Leaving Certificate with a minimum of Grade C3 in two Higher Level subjects, and a minimum of Grade D3 (Ordinary Level) in 4 other subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination, which must include Mathematics and English or Irish.
Recent minimum CAO points: 235

Career Opportunities
Be part of the team that designs successful advertising and communications campaigns for public and private sector organisations. Advise companies as to how they can get the most out of their Public Relations activities. Devise sales promotions programmes that help launch new products or help boost the sales of products in competitive markets.
Come up with ideas that harness the potential of new technologies for communicating with new and existing customers. Design a digital marketing strategy that includes Search Engine Marketing, Email, Social Media, Mobile, eCommerce, Website Optimisation, Search Engine Analytics and Optimisation and Viral Advertising.
Be involved in organising major sporting, musical and cultural events. Work in a public or private sector organisation and be responsible for their advertising and marketing communications activities. Apply for a Masters Degree sometime in the future.
