SECTION 4:
INDUSTRY AND COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT In this section we looked at the different aspects of competition between industries with the use of the Porter's Five Forces. By using this method we were able to see the competition, threat of substitutes, threat of new entrants, bargaining power of suppliers and buyers.

ASSIGNMENT ONE: THE MACRO ENVIRONMENTAL FORCES
The first continuous assessment that we got is making a presentation about the macro environmental forces. This assignment was in to groups of 4. Each member in the group have to choose a macro environmental factor and explain. Each member also have to have an article that illustrate the macro environmental factor and how the factor affect a business or a company. I chose the Socio-cultural Factor.

FIVE FORCES
The second assessment that we got was an in class exam that examine the attractiveness using Porter's Five Forces. We were given a case study about the Ice Cream and Frozen Desserts Industry in America. We had to apply the Porter's Five Forces into the case study.
